Photographer Gautam Krishnan took this photo of the site of the Eastland Disaster as it appears in the early 2020’s. Located between Clark and LaSalle in downtown Chicago, the only “living witnesses” to the disaster are the Chicago River and the Reid Murdoch building.

Cleveland artist, Steve Kocevar, created this mashup of the Eastland Disaster site then and now for the “Flower In The River” book cover. No one is doing this type of past-present meld (so far).
